D11 Single-Phase & D13 Three-Phase Metering
ABB’s energy-meter catalogue describes D11 as a one-module, 40 A single-phase meter and D13 as a three-module, 65 A three-phase meter. The documented functionality level 15 covers active and reactive energy, import/export measurement and tariff functions. Tariff control and communication must be checked for the selected version. These direct-connected meters differ from CT-connected instruments; confirm the phase system and installation ratings before procurement.
Communication, Certification & Version Selection
The ordering tables include meters without a wired protocol, Modbus RTU versions and M-Bus versions. MID certification applies to the specific marked reference, not every D11/D13 meter. Match the full model and code, network protocol, wiring, voltage, current and certification requirements. A compact footprint or matching current rating alone does not establish a replacement relationship.
